Hart District Council have initiated Hart for Business, an economic development function which is managed by the local authority.

The website aims to help raise Hart's profile and encourage businesses to invest in, or relocate to, the district.

Since the coronavirus pandemic started, the need to support the economy has only gain more importance.

As part of the council’s Economic Recovery Plan, it was identified that there was a need to showcase the region as a great place to be, in particular for businesses looking to relocate.

Speaking about the website, Cllr Graham Cockraill, Cabinet Member for Place at Hart District Council, said: “The website aims to develop positive relationships with key stakeholders and organisations from across the business spectrum to help attract investment and strengthen Hart's strong and vibrant economy.

He added: “It also looks to connect local businesses with the excellent property search, training and support currently available.”

The website also plans to help signpost and inform local businesses to help them grow post-COVID.
